Keyboard controls need browser focus
A browser game can only respond to keyboard input when the page or game area has focus. If Arrow keys, WASD or Space do not respond, click once inside the game area and try again.
Avoid typing shortcuts while a text field is selected. Many games deliberately ignore gameplay keys when the cursor is inside an input box so normal typing still works.
Understand common movement patterns
Arrow keys and WASD are common movement controls because they work well for directional games such as Snake, racing, maze and arena challenges. Space is often used for jumping, firing or a single action.
The exact controls depend on the game. Read the control hint above or inside the game before starting, especially when a game has a special action such as reversing direction or dropping a block.
Touch controls replace unavailable keys
Phones and tablets do not have permanent keyboard keys, so responsive games use on-screen buttons or direct taps. A touch control should perform the same core action as its keyboard equivalent.
For better accuracy, keep the browser zoom at a normal level and avoid pressing two nearby buttons at the same time unless the game is designed for multi-touch.
Fullscreen can reduce distractions
Fullscreen gives the game more screen space and can make controls easier to see. On MisterBuddy game pages, the page-level fullscreen shortcut is F when a text field is not active, and the visible Fullscreen button provides the same action.
Browsers may require a user click or key press before entering fullscreen. This is a normal browser security behaviour rather than a game error.
Restart when the game state is stuck
A game can occasionally lose focus after switching tabs, resizing the window or rotating a phone. First click or tap the game area. If the state still does not respond, use the game's Restart control or the page-level R shortcut.
Refreshing the entire page is another option, but it may reset an unsaved guest score. Use the in-game restart when available.
Check browser and device basics
If multiple games fail to run, update the browser, confirm JavaScript is enabled, and disable extensions that aggressively block page scripts for a quick test. A weak connection can also delay external assets, although MisterBuddy's built-in games are designed to run directly in the browser.
